Superstar Dad

In News Week magazine article, "My Life as an NBA Superstar Single Dad" NBA superstar Dewayne Wade talks about his life as a single dad. "I was seriously motivated to be a full-time parent for my sons. My mother and father weren’t together when I was a kid growing up in Chicago, and early on my mother fell victim to drug abuse. At 9 years old, I moved in with my father because my mother could no longer care for me. Looking back, I now see so many similarities between my own childhood and that of my sons."(Wade) Wade talks about bing the parents to his kids that he never had. giving them the best life the could dream of. As a teen i understand the feeling of not growing up with your dad. Growing up as a man you really need your dad in your life.

Lebron James #1 or is he?

Espn ranked Lebron James # 1 in the NBA. Alot of people had problems with this decision. "The biggest gasp out of me was that they had Miami Heat choke artist LeBron James as the number 1 player in the NBA. Are you freaking kidding me!"(Lebeau) This NBA fan expressed his feeling about the ranking of the NBA. Me personlly I believe that Lebron James is the # 1 basketball player in the NBA today.

BASKETBALL NEVER STOPS!!!!

The NBA lockout doesn't mean Basketball  has to stop. Many of the NBA players came together in the summer time and started a leauge of there own. NBA stars included Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Dewayne Wade, and many others. As a fan you have to really appreciate what they are doing because its  all for us.

2k12..The Legends

2k sports has done it again. 2k12 sold over 5 million in a matter of one week . This game has been labled by critics one of the best Basketball games ever made because it is the most realistic basketball game ever made. It really gives you the feeling that you are in the NBA. In my opinion it is. 2k11 brung back MJ and a couple other NBA legends. 2k12 bring back every NBA legend that ever played the game this is a special new addition to the game. If you are a real Basketball fan you will purchase this game and love every bit of it.

2 weeks gone!

The NBA spent more than 12 hours Monday trying to come up with a deal to end the lockout. At the end of the day all the NBA got was a lost of the first two week of the regular season. There will me futher meeting with NBA commisioner, and players on later dates. If a deal is not reached soon there is an very strong chance there will be no NBA this season.

NBA lockout day 91.

The NBA lockout is still in effect. NBA commissioner David Stern is planning to threaten players with the cancellation of the entire 2011-12 season if the sides haven't made major progress toward a deal by the end of the weekend. As a fan this news is really hard to take because basketball is a very important part of my life. I grew up watching the NBA along with millions of other fans so I know this will be a very disappointing season.
